It's a beautiful Saturday and I spent most of my day tinkering with Google ads and absolutely CRUSHING it for some clients I have with local businesses.
The cool thing about Google ads (and Meta ads) is that it's complicated. At least - if you want to do them right.
Why is that cool?
Because most people will never go through the pain of learning how to run them properly.
I've been doing Google and Facebook ads for over years now.
But I still remember how confusing and annoying it was to get started.
But think about it - the higher the barrier to entry, the better of a source it usually is.
If it was easy and everyone could do it? Then the edge immediately erodes. Any possible advantage of doing it immediately disappears because the barrier to entry is literally: 'are you a human?'.
No. The good stuff is always hidden. It's always stored away somewhere. You have to go through the motions, annoyances and grief.
And only then do you get the glorious reward.
