One of the main problems that businesses owners have is that they keep viewing the world through their own eyes.

 

 When you should be looking at it from your customers eyes.

 

You need to make sure you view the world through the customers eyes and you have a sense of what problems they are trying to solve. What they are trying to achieve, what they are annoyed about?

 

I’ll give you a simple example:

 

Lets say I’m looking for an electrician in London. Where will the customer start?

 

What a lot of people do is make a gigantic website and start talking about who they are ,their values, photos of fancy electric systems etc. But really truthfully, that’s nice to know as extra information but what people really want to know is:

 

When will the electrician show up?

 

How long will they take?

 

How much will it cost?

 

Can they solve my issue?

 

You need to look at it from their perspective, they’re trying to buy something.


Look at the world through the customers eyes. It’s very important.
