
One of the most important questions when you are running a business is:
Why should someone do business with me instead of my competitor or not doing anything at all, what is unique about me?
And a lot of people will mess it up.
They’ll say ‘we’ve been in business or a long time, customers are really important to us, our service is really good, our people are really nice etc.
Everyone says the same thing, you need something unique.
Come up with something
Think, what is annoy people about doing business this way or going to this kind of business or fixing this problem and how can we do that in a unique way.
Very simple example; lets say you’re a roofer and everyone says it takes too long to get a roofer and roofers leave a mess when they are done. You could say we’ll be there within one day and we have a clean roof guarantee.
This would work great because if no other roofers promise that, you’re golden, you’ll win.
