If you run a local construction business, one of the best ways to get clients that your competition will never even touch. Is to focus on getting to them earlier.


The way you do it is by not just focusing on people that are ready to buy right now but people that are looking for information, everyone that is making a decision is going to look up information first and get a sense of what’s out there, what their options are, what they’re alternatives are who’s in the market etc.


If you catch them in that stage that’s great. Best way to do it is to give them information, something like this post, social media, videos , a report, a guide something that really helps them out.


All of those things really help catch people at an early stage, you can show them that you know what you are doing, show them your giving them value before money has changed hands.


Build trust by giving value first and the cool thing about it is no competitor will actually have access to these people because they are all focusing on the sale.


Let’s say you are a home improvement company; ‘want to improve your home, click here'.

 But there’s plenty of people that are still looking for more information, still looking at different options. Thinking:

·       Can they improve their home themselves?

·       How do they prepare their home for the renovation best?

·       How do they get the best result out of it?

·       How much is it going to cost?


Now if you know these things, which you do because you’re a professional; how to solve these problems in an early state.


You just give them the solution and at the end you say ‘hey by the way, if you want me to come over and give you a quote or if you want my advice on XYZ, ‘I’m happy to help to help out’.


You’ll be amazed at how easy it is to build up a list of people that are thinking about taking you up on your offer and you’ll be able to follow up with them easily.
